Stacey Haugland is a Certified Professional Midwife. She is licensed in the State of
Montana as a Direct-Entry Midwife. Stacey has been attending birth
since 1992 and started her own midwifery practice in 1998. Since then
she has welcomed hundreds of babies into this world. Stacey is
currently the President of the Montana Midwives Association. She is a
member of the Midwives Alliance of North America, the National
Association of Certified Professional Midwives, and Citizens for
Midwifery. She is on the faculty of the National College of Midwifery
and the Seattle School of Midwifery and serves as a clinical preceptor
for aspiring midwives.
Stacey lives in Bozeman with her geriatric dogs, young cats, silly chickens, and loving partner. In her spare time, she has been active in human rights and women’s health issues. Stacey is a founding member and past-president of the Gallatin Valley Human Rights Task Force and a former board member of the Montana Human Rights Network. She rather likes to bicycle. |

Mikelann Caywood-Baerg is a Certified Nurse Midwife in private practice since 1984 in Livingston and Bozeman. She has attended over 1000 births. Mikelann is licensed by the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM) and has a Montana Advanced Nurse Practice license with prescriptive authority. She is an active member of ACNM and is on faculty of Montana State University and the University of Colorado for preceptorships. Mikelann and her husband have one child, who is now in college. Mikelann enjoys hiking, gardening and is an accomplished quilter. |
